We will leave Friday from Messiah at 6:00 p.m. for Holy Wisdom (or meet there if it is closer for you) and return on Saturday around 5:00 p.m. The theme is “Practicing His Presence” with Cindy Nauertz, from Oconomowoc as our retreat leader. The retreat will include some study time, discussion and some quiet reflective time as well as laughter. The cost is only $65 for your room, breakfast and lunch on Saturday. We have room for 18 women so you’ll want to sign up right away on the kiosk to reserve your space. A $25 deposit made out to Messiah Lutheran Church will be payable by April 15th with the balance due by May 5th. Please mark Women’s Retreat on your check. The information that follows is from our retreat leader:
“In the quiet, in the stillness, I know that You are God…..in the secret, of your Presence, I know there I am restored……..”
We live in a hurried world, and most of us would call our own lives “busy”. Yet this is not how God created us to BE…missing out on HIS PRESENCE because we are not still! So come away for a 24 hour break from it all….TREAT yourself to a WONDER-filled time to BE STILL and KNOW HE is GOD. Together we will learn how to HEAR God’s voice and practice BEing STILL…..and alone you will have time to Practice HIS Presence through guided times of reflection.
Retreat Leader: Cindy Nauertz – wife, mother, grandmother of 3 (almost 4!), Bible study leader, author, certified Life and Wellness Coach, devoted Christ-follower.
