Messiah Church is committed to affordable housing for seniors and supports Ecumenical Housing Corporation on Madison’s East side. We are one of the founding faith communities.

Reverend William Koehler, pastor of Lake Edge United Church of Christ, had a vision of affordable housing for seniors. He shared his idea with eight other Madison east side faith communities, including Messiah Church. After a year of planning, Ecumenical Housing Corporation was incorporated on January 18, 1980.
Our communities are designed for our residents’ comfort and convenience. And, our desire is to make a positive difference in the lives of our residents.
We are honored when people choose one of our communities to live as we strive to provide a sense of a friendly “neighborhood” with personal services to make their best years even better.
What started as a vision over 30 years ago is now a reality and one of the best options in Dane County.
